Mike was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. In 2012, he married his high school sweetheart, Kait, and they moved to Charlotte, NC, eventually settling in Myrtle Beach, SC where they now raise their three children: Mason, Hailey, and Chloe. Mike spent eight years as an appliance technician at Whirlpool before finding his calling in the insurance industry in November 2020.

Within his first 30 days, he wrote over $26,000 in annual premium and finished his first year as a Hall of Fame Producer, with over $400,000 in premium. He also built a team that produced over $100,000 per month. In 2022, as life insurance sales dipped and overpriced leads hurt profitability, Mike diversified his agency offerings by adding health insurance, knowing that it was the right long-term move.

Over the next year, Mike built his agency to over 500 writing agents and became one of the fastest-growing agencies in the industry. By the end of 2023, his agency had produced over $32 million in annual premium, surpassing $45 million by mid-2024.

In July 2024, Mike partnered with USA Benefits Group under the leadership of Rick Banville. In September 2024, Mike’s agency was recognized as the #1 agency in the country by Manhattan Life.

Mike continues to mentor agents, teaching them how to build six-figure renewals and has produced hundreds of six-figure earners. His story is one of resilience, faith, and perseverance, proving that no challenge is too big when you have the will to overcome it.
